Shadow's of Manitoba's team leader Sharon Granger has been talking for a few years about going bald just for the experience. So Now Sharon has stepped up to the plate. So why did Sharon do this brave thing? Here is Sharon's story: I have donated my hair towards a wig for cancer patients. 18 inches went towards a wig that will be sent to Gisele's hair loss solutions A-1032 St. Mary's Road. My Hair was cut by Eimel Ozkan from Singletons hair care at 166 Meadowood Dr. The reason I did this was in honour of my late mother in-law, my father, Aunt & A very dear friend of mine. I also did this for the ones whom I do not know but hope to meet one day. IPI Head Representative for Canada IPI has been moving forward at great speed over the past year. With more Representatives from all across the world joining on a weekly basis. IPI is moving forward with its Representative
project, ensuring all who take on this extra responsibility are fully
aware of responsibilities to not only fellow IPI Members but the local
area they are serving. Representatives will give a voice from their
local area whether from fellow groups with concerns or ideas they would
like people to work together on OR by voting .. issues and new projects
raised by international colleagues. For Eastern Canada, Rushell MacDonald, Founder of PEIGHS and IPI Rep for PEI has been selected. These areas include Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland & Labrador, and Prince Edward Island. IPI is still currently looking for Representatives for the Northern Canada areas which includes Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut. Until the time when a Rep has been found, Rushell and Sharon will be more than happy to help anyone from those areas. IPI promotes working in agreement and closely
together with the hope that research can be further advanced by sharing
findings, knowledge gained from our research and by reducing irrelevant
squabbling that has nothing to do with research and does drag the field
down. |
